Almsgiving is one of the three cornerstones of Lent besides Prayer and Fasting. We are invited by Jesus to give to the poor and the needy.
If you are seeking an almsgiving opportunity, you may consider supporting the less-privileged students at Don Bosco Lonavla.
Don Bosco Lonavla is a minor seminary where a vast majority of boys hail from economically challenged backgrounds. They come to Don Bosco Lonavla desiring to become a priest or a brother. During their stay at Lonavla, we help them discern their vocation to the priestly or religious life.
If you have not yet pledged your Lenten contributions and are exploring options, you may consider supporting our young students aspiring to become priests. Your financial contribution to Don Bosco Lonavla will give these economically challenged boys an opportunity to pursue their vocations in a positive and nurturing environment.
